We are a 3 generation family of artisan crafters. Mother, daughter and granddaughter create "Uniquely Canadian" cottage and home decor items. Homebase is small hobby farm & Maple Sugar Bush located just north of Kingston, Ontario on the edge of the Canadian Shield. This homestead nestled among Sugar & Black Maples and other various deciduous & coniferous trees, feeds our love of the Canadian Wilderness and its outdoor pursuits, like camping, canoeing, and hiking.
Couple this with our passion for our Canadian Heritage and that is what truly "Inspires" us to create our "Canadiana" Decor products. Environmental stewardship is the main catalyst that drives us to use recycled and re-purposed materials in many of our creations.
We give Old Stuff" A New Life, Thru Re-purposing & Up-cycling Materials Into New and Unique Treasures". This includes, (but not limited to) recycled/re-purposed woods, fabrics and household items. We create unique, one-of-a kind, wood decor items, throw pillows, hand-stitched lap quilts, hand-stamped tea towels, hand-loomed fabric rugs, blankets and Winter wear. Yes, our passion for family, wilderness, Canada and most importantly creativity, really is in our genes, and is the Heartbeat behind Black Maple Farm.
